Yes, Home Energy Scotland (HES) grants can help with heat pumps, insulation and storage heating, subject to an eligibility check, and they’re based on the property rather than your income, so there’s no means test to worry about.
If you’re in a rural or island property, you can combine the £7,500 air source heat pump grant with the £1,500 rural and island uplift, up to £9,000 towards a heat pump, subject to an eligibility check. Rural households can claim up to £18,000 in total grant funding across combined measures.
Insulation runs on its own separate figures rather than the heat pump total; internal wall insulation carries a £7,500 grant plus a £2,500 interest-free loan, again subject to an eligibility check.
You’ll find the full breakdown, including which measures qualify for your property here.
